Wahiba Chair is a senior strategist and award-winning educator with over 15 years of experience in marketing, communications, and technology. Her work, rooted in authenticity and connection, helps organizations reach the right audiences and build relationships that drive measurable results. In addition to founding CarrotLines, a top 10 Canadian health & fitness app conceived on reality TV and featured on CNN, she has worked with a wide range of organizations, from startups like Cloudburst Research (acquired by Google), to large retail brands like Toyota, and public sector organizations like Elections BC. Prior to joining University Canada West, Wahiba taught public relations and digital marketing at SFU Continuing Studies and UBC Sauder School of Business. She also hosts the Comms Major podcast and serves as Director of Students & New Communicators for the BC Chapter of IABC. Wahiba lives in Langley, BC with her family, chasing her two kids around on their bikes most weekends.
